1. GENERAL POLICY

Due to the nature of medical devices, medical supplies, and cosmetic products, PHI maintains strict return controls to protect health, safety, and regulatory compliance.

All returns are subject to approval.

2. ONLINE & RETAIL (CONSUMER) PURCHASES

2.1 Eligible Returns

Unopened, unused, and resalable products may be eligible for return if:

  • Return is requested within 14 days of delivery (online) or purchase date (walk-in)
  • Product remains in original packaging
  • Product is not temperature-sensitive, sterile, or restricted

Proof of purchase is required.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following are final sales:

  • Opened or used products
  • Sterile or single-use medical supplies
  • Temperature-controlled products
  • Special-order items
  • Clearance items
  • Products marked “Final Sale”
  • Professional-use-only injectables or restricted devices

This policy helps comply with regulations under the Food and Drugs Act and applicable U.S. health regulations.

2.3 Defective or Damaged Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective:

  • Notify us within 7 days of receipt
  • Provide photos and order details
  • Do not use the product

If approved, we will:

  • Replace the item, or
  • Issue a refund to the original payment method

3. WHOLESALE / B2B RETURNS

Wholesale returns require prior written authorization.

Conditions:

  • Must be requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Subject to inspection
  • May incur a 20% restocking fee
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

Opened, sterile, and temperature-sensitive products are strictly non-returnable.

PHI reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet regulatory resale standards.

4. REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds:

  • Issued to the original payment method
  • Processed within 7-10 business days
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless due to our error

For B2B accounts, refunds may be applied as account credit.

5. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled:

  • Before shipment (online orders)
  • Before processing (wholesale orders)

Once shipped, cancellation is not permitted.

Custom or special-order items cannot be cancelled once ordered from the manufacturer.

6. CROSS-BORDER RETURNS (CANADA-USA)

Customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Customs documentation
  • Duties or brokerage fees

PHI is not responsible for customs delays or additional border charges.

7. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Certain medical devices and cosmetic products are regulated by:

  • Health Canada
  • U.S. Food and Drug Administration

Returned products must meet safety and regulatory resale requirements. Products that cannot legally be resold will not be accepted.

8. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To request a return authorization:

Include:

  • Order number
  • Product name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if damaged/defective)

Returns sent without authorization may be refused.

9. Pharmilex offers free pick up

Order online and save time & shipping charges.

We encourage you to place order by email, phone or fax and we will have your order waiting for you when you arrive.

  • In Store Pickup

All online orders receive an automatic email as receipt of confirmation of the order. Once processed, all online orders then receive another email which will inform the customer of the delivery/pick up time of their order. If your order is for pick up please wait for this email so that we can have your order ready and waiting for you.

  • Item Availability

As we have more than 10K items, please note that not all items on our website are always in stock. Although an item might appear to be in stock, due to customer demand and availability fluctuations, some items that have an ‘in stock’ notification may not be in stock at that moment. If you are coming to our address, kindly call us first at 905-669-2555 to check stock. We can even have these items waiting for you when you come in.

  • Pharmilex offers free delivery on orders over $100.00 before tax to the following areas in Toronto. Orders under $100.00 are charged a flat rate of $20 (plus tax). Overweight products, oversized packages, or addresses in remote areas, may be subject to additional delivery charges.

Agincourt, Don Mills, East York, Etobicoke, Leaside, North York, Scarborough, Weston and York

Pharmilex offers free shipping on orders over $300 (before tax) to addresses in Canada (outside Toronto). Orders under $300 are charged a flat rate of $19.95 (plus tax). Overweight products, addresses in remote areas, or addresses outside Ontario, may be subject to additional delivery charges.

Overweight

Please note that some overweight or oversized items on our website are not available for free shipping. If your online order requires a shipping charge, we will notify you of the shipping amount. Free delivery by our Pharmilex truck applies to any order over $100.00 (before tax) going to a Toronto address (Agincourt, Don Mills, East York, Etobicoke, Leaside, North York, Scarborough, Weston, York). We hope you are completely satisfied with your purchase! If, for any reason, you are not, please let us know within 7 days of your purchase date, and we can arrange for a refund or replacement. If you would like to return a product that you purchased from us, please contact us, as unauthorized returns will not be accepted. You can send us an email to contact@pharmilex.com or call us at 905-669-2555, and we will provide instructions on where to ship the return. Once this step is complete, you can ship your product back to us. Only products that have been returned in new, original, unopened packaging with a receipt and don’t conflict with our health regulations policy are eligible for a refund. Buyers are responsible for return shipping, except in the event of our error. Shipping charges on the original order are non-refundable. A restocking charge may apply. A Due to health regulations we are unable to accept returns on any of the following: supports (garments worn on the body); medical devices, medical equipment, diagnostics (products that touch the body); clothing and scrubs (garments worn on the body); sterile products; incontinence products; bedding and sleep surfaces; seating products also see above items 2-4 for more non-returnable products list.
